This plate Pao-Chai is the first in a series of 12 of plates, Beauties Of The Red Mansion, inspired by the classic Chinese tale, A Dream of Red Mansion. Designed by famed Chinese artisan Zhao Huimin, this porcelain plate was in production for 115 days that year at Imperial Jingdezhen in The Peoples Republic of China, and thusly marked "Limited Edition". Comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity and Description Card and box from the original purchaser. The plate measures 8.5" in diameter, and is in Excellent condition. Light wear on the original box.
